I thought of a quick way to share works in progress, that I am satisfied with. Here, I plan to post ‘thumbnails’* of ‘photos, of work, related to LuridMax and the new content.
I mentioned creating a Sequence of full page illustrations based on Fastner and Larson’s ” Kiss of the Axe” and “Sexecutioner”. I have put in studio time, making entire sequences, choosing references to get a similar look. There are drawings in various stages, that I could share, to give more insight to the progress; without wasting studio time.
‘In the Works’ is devised to accomplish this. I don’t consider it preview ‘Content’ per se; since I may radically overhaul, discontinue, and begin a fresh approach.
This way I can share ambitious 19 x 24 ” Bristol pieces featuring Original character designs, and pre-code scenes, that are nearly complete; ‘unfinished’ pending script/costume/anatomy/background reference – or composites in progress, which I plan to and prepare to ink, and color) – without wasting studio time scanning and connecting.
Also, I can put links to sections that will take time to develop. Such as the Open World. And when additions are made, I can put a link from the Latest content to inform viewers it’s there.
In the time it takes to scan and connect unfinished images, I could make a great progress toward completing them. The Apocrypha, is an exception, because it is an archival effort. I plan to ‘finish some of these, ( and have begun inking some ) but the outcome will be in my current style; so scanning them was to preserve the original, before I modify any unfinished ones.
