Plot and Character Development
,… That is one price, for the well-rounded quality I envision: as I work on the individual elements.

Another, that is most confounding, is the conundrum of telling meaningful stories, with characters that have a lot invested in their development. Since anonymity is reduced with personal investment into the characters,- as dialogue is a form of the author’s voice, and the plot is a device to express the author’s personal stories. Especially if these characters are based on friends and family – it also feels like they are vulnerable to the wolves; when a viewer requests the pre-code horror scenes to feature the beloved characters.
It’s much easier to create fan art pre-code horror, since those are someone else’s original characters; and have less meaning to the fan -artist.
Juxtaposing Meaningful stories & Pre-Code Horror
Can one tell meaningful stories, with characters that are well developed, and have pre-code horror scenes?
How does one maintain anonymity, and still speak with their voice?
Separate Galleries?
Should the mainstream quality story be in mainstream galleries, and open to mainstream viewer support, and the pre-code variations available anonymously to private customers?
Personal Voice, with Anonymity?
Is anonymity possible, in such a case, since the original characters are only copyrighted to one person? Won’t it be obvious that the creator of the mainstream version is also the creator of the exclusive lurid pre-code horror version? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of anonymity?
Minimalism = Status Quo
And if the characters and story are minimalist, to protect anonymity, and the author’s voice is squelched, or omitted, is it ceasing to be the ‘mainstream’ professional quality pre-code comicbook world the creator envisioned?
