These are just quick, to indicate color, costume concepts. So, when I start making costume variations on templates, I can use colors/concepts, that were ideas that I thought about, rather than just making up costumes on the spot ( which generally become super detailed pieces, that don’t work ideally as costumes: for comics. Drawing them roughly, over time, I get to try variations, without investing so much time into a design, that it becomes a work of art, and not amenable to being improved. I see alot of character design art, that becomes like a stained glass masterpiece, and yet, doesn’t serve as a memorable, identifiable, reproducible, , functional costume for a character. In that sense, power in a costume, is in elements that differentiate, and which viewers can associate with a persona. Also, if drawn, with attention to physique, facial, detail, a character can be more strongly defined, by aspects other than the costume. )
