Foreword
I composed these myself. Writing music is a work in progress – allows for many variations. I will begin with general themes, brainstorms (loose free playing). From themes I repeat, I can develop more polished, and ideally arranged and timed melodies and orchestration. Long segments, may eventually become streamlined – others embellished; and themes may be worked on for longer than they appear in the game ( ie, many recordings of dirge, or a particular key, riff, or mood – tempo/dynamics).
These are not considered complete pieces. This is where I will post work as I record it. Updates, will include revisions, additions. I am starting now, because even for 14 quality tracks, the best result can benefit from a month ( per track) of daily rehearsal, composing, arrangement variations, listening to while drawing and revision. Even after I do the best I can, there will be critics, ( I enjoy music, so the reward is inherent )- so I approach this knowing it is a humble effort, and that not everyone can be pleased. But hopefully something someone will appreciate; if not only I.
The beginning themes are suspenseful pursuit, epic marching, funeral dirge, and Marche Slave ( Tchaikovsky). The application envisioned, are background music for a trailer ( accompanied by the words of the Scheherazade’s Logline II 300 words – after it is spliced, and Zaydimar I).
