Reactions to the Genre

[continued from previous week’s discourse ]

Now, I have a sense of what counts, and whose comments matter, and how to view social interactions over the internet.

And my responsibilities to myself for what I believe in.

I don’t think there is anything inherently harmful about any piece of art. But a certain attitude, and dialogue, I believe can condition someone to view an unconscionable script, as an ordinary thought process, and through regular participation in an activity that results in neurotransmitters creating a bond to whatever is visually present at the time; can, like behavioral modification with Pavlov’s dog; result in mis-associating a visual presentation of destruction, without consequences presented.

My main concern is impressionable young people.

By presenting content that contains lurid/horror, and maximizing elements like : style, variation, artistic qualities – rather than what is commonly done by artists, which is to maximize the shock content, ( with both visual and textual material for profit).

My interest in presenting LuridMax, is to create halloween/metal cover/ 90’s video game, to golden age comic style characters/lore with lurid/horror gore aspects, that include consequences plot, sci fi, a cast, with costume, and physique variety.

( like the comics code; but unlike the comics code, not omit all presentations; ie, like making marijuana illegal, despite it having beneficial / medical/therapuetic effects; and widely known safe use in various cultures.)

As Eli Roth ( Hostel, Cabin Fever) said, not everybody is going to like it, and alot of people are going to hate it; but for the fans of the genre, they will hopefully appreciate the effort to thoughtfully present tributes, and work informed by classics, to bring new content that is outside of the censorship atmosphere, currently popular.

Upcoming Plans for Social Media

I greatly appreciate everyone who has contributed, with positive feedback, and subscriptions, which widen the scope and fund the upcoming work.

Last year I started posting content around Sept 28, and advertised daily on Deviant art. I’m looking forward to a new season of posting ads, and making image series ( colored templates applied to fan-art and original characters) with suspenseful ( cover style) illustrations to post publicly. And the full series to be featured at the LuridMax website exclusively for members.

Eventually with new full color profile, logos, more concise info text posts, and organized gallery folders.

My vision for the Lurid Max deviant art page, is to serve as an ambassador , or bridge between the genres. I would like to set up illustrated bio pages, with studies of classic covers ( of vintage art, and covers I own) and present a breadth of the history, and classic/iconic covers/ posters.

A folder of ‘original characters’ – taken from the Apocrypha. Which I can make new comics from.

Initially posting some colorings, and completed inkings.

Then publish, advertise, adaptations of classic stories; like reinterpretations of Scheherazade , and other historical stories relevant to the genre. ( including classic films, fiction )

For the ‘new‘ lore( original characters) , stories, comicbook titles featured exclusively on this website in Early Access; I want to feature on separate Deviant art pages by those titles; and general pages: like Pulp Visions.

I apologize in advance, if I don’t get to your comments and ideas right away. I simply do my best to time manage. I prioritize making each post, preparing content for each week

( as I get all the Apocrypha scanned, and prepared to color) and deal with physical tasks, duties, and things that demand my attention as they come, and try to complete tasks in an order that is most efficient at any given time, or physical state. ( ie. after lots of physical labor, fatigue; whether during the early day, or late evening; indoors, or outdoor studio. Writing, layouts, studies, freehand, inking, ect,..)

I will always have more ideas, than time to complete them in drawn/ finished form. This is the process which I enjoy sharing with subscribers here.

Universe of Shadow without Light – The Void: ‘ Nyhaelos’

Umbra Forge: Umbreed

The Wikkoth, discovered the umbra forge in Nyahleos, and brought it to a Temple built for Cuj. The Wikkoth, enabled Cuj, to create umbreed. Cuj taught the Wikkoth how to proliferate the void – parasite, in the Mophorge universe, by putting them into human host bodies.

Blasphemic Ceremonies of Feasting and the Defiler.

Thus the Wikkoth, became acolytes of Cuj, strengthening Cuj Wikkoths influence in the Mophorge universe, with Blasphemic ceremonies of ‘feasting‘ and ‘the defiler’; secretly in temples, on Drakkune and Agreson, and others, connected by the ‘Bnthosforamen’ ( portals) of Cuj Wikkoth, to the corridors of the Quarantine Worlds, and giving Cuj and other void entities ( Jotugg –Mnemoth, Vir-Bakkok, Xth’Raddon,Cthed-Zerogg, Yb’nom-Noggith ), access to other races to feed upon ( Biresan, Thannti ) .

Bn’ thosf Oram ‘ En: Shadow Portals

One of Cuj Wikkoth’s Nihilem ( or Wikkoth/ void entity hybrid) known as Cornelius Gaites, taught the Wikkoth to rune lock the Quarantine world corridors to the Bn’ thosf Oram’en,and keep them unknown to the humans, or Septendecim.

Cornelius Gaites: Shadow Emperor

Cornelius Gaites is a mastersmith of the Umbra ( Shadow Forge), and recruits the Wikkoth, for soldiers, from the umbreed/humans, and spreads them to the Thannti/ Biresan, and Drakkune.

Cornelius once loved a Thannti woman, who was enslaved by the abusive Zargyx– and devastated.

Zargyx – Emperor of the Nyhaelos Triad: Drakkune, Biresan, Agreson

Cornelius Gaites, seeks to undermine Zargyx, the Emperor of the Nyhaelos Triad. Cornelius Gaites has courted both Cuj, and Jotugg; and with his temples to Vir-Bakkok, Xth-Raddon, the Wikkoth that serve him, see his influence beyond Cuj. Cornelius plans to raise a third legion, under Cthed’Zerogg, – the void entity he is currently offering humans to feed on; the fourth under Vir Bakkok: thus 5 umbreed armies, extensions of 5 void entities to try to wrest three worlds from Zargyx.

The Four Void Entites: Jotugg-Mnemoth, Vir-Bakkok, Cuj-Wikkoth, Cthed-Zerogg

Lord Thezrog Wikkoth Emperor

Lord Thezrog, a Wikkoth Emperor, was given his position by Cornelius Gaites, Through Thezrog, Cornelius makes it appear as though the Wikkoth themselves are amassing a harmless army. Cuj plans to clone the Immutables, in stasis, and infiltrate the Septendecim, then take the artifacts of the Mophorge, to destroy the Immutable enforcers, and use the Bn’ thosf Oram’ en, to storm the worlds of the Mophorge, and rule through Nyhaelos.

This is a way to save studio time for art – and keeps the navigation for the upcoming packs all with the same password; rather than adding hours of time changing passwords across the site. Former sections use the previous password.

I have emailed everyone who subscribed for the current month, the new password for Current Content. Anyone who wants access can subscribe again, I will check the mail weekly, and if you paid earlier in the week, I will credit you for at a least a full calendar month ( 31 days) since the day I give you the password.
