Words from the Creator
Fri Jan 17 2020 Updates; Tribute; Lore; Adaptation; Thanks
( Thurs Jan 16 2020) I ordered a 1,000 word gig – a narrative. Lot of historical words ( with pronounciation guide), ETA Jan 27. Casting more actresses for it ASAP; since it is a narrative. Have two currently in mind.
The one I recently received I have written more content for, and am starting to get an idea which actresses match original characters, as I listen to the files.
[ I plan to post more to the current weekly packs]
Script writing, although, time consuming, tedious, and not as ‘fun’ an activity as drawing for me, seems worth the effort, as I realize I can send the same scripts to various actress, once they are in final edited form; and the process of scripting the original characters, organizes the stories, resulting in making comic book illustrations, and visual novel ( choose your own adventure, and mini Renpy games) very simple to conceive.
(Tues Jan 14 2020) I wrote several more scripts – it seems a quality* script ( between 70 and 600 words) can take about 2 -5 days. Working on scripts for 5 voice actresses – so my main characters for the upcoming titles, comics and mini visual novel ( test segments) are all voiced consistently**
Upcoming tasks, are to learn how to use Audacity and edit the audio files, and place them in Renpy*** ; read the Instructions for Canon Rebel Ti7 camera****
I have more animations to post – considering make new videos, ( weighing the time it takes to edit ( splice large files) versus make new ones that are 64 mb ( using a new mod, for closer view ).
Spent some time, simplifying the path ( in my directory of 6 hard drives) so it’s less time consuming to make posts ( according to the current menu template) .
The lesson I learned on the Road Trip, is that I am alot happier drawing most of the day, and spending as little time on the computer getting images and text on to websites*****. And I get more quality drawing done, development of scripts, and building ( planning ) to comics/ video game and scripts, when I go to bed at a normal time and get regular full night’s sleep.
*****It is very easy for me to stay up 6 hours through the am, tweaking the website, and looking through references on my Custom built Gaming PC – but when I was at a relatives, without unlimited access to a PC; I got alot more of actual drawing, scripting, and game design done. So I look forward to getting my hard drives organized, and posts set up, so I can work on artwork more.
*( applicable to multiple voice actresses, because vocal direction is thorough enough for them to characterize them consistently as envisioned)
** ( hopefully before any of the currently casted actresses suddenly are unavailable – 7 previously considered actress, that scripts between 700 – 2,000 words; are no longer available: )
*** ( I have used Renpy before, and recently looked through a visual novel I created last year to familiarize myself )
**** ( to take 6 th scale model figures; I have some new props; and some planned to craft, and paint )
I surveyed content on various sites, ( for new photo reference material ) – for the first time since Oct 27. Found a really impressive manga, the architectural details, and expressions ( costumes) – fine detail, and historical fiction story telling, was superb: there were over 70 chapters, and I spent most of an evening staying up too late, downloading pages for later reference.

Voice Over Scripting and Actors & Actresses
Writing scripts is a very thoughtful process, requiring a certain amount of lack of interrupting – to best remember all the aspects, so that they make sense as a big picture.
In the Main Studio:
Planned Order of Current Studio Projects:
1. complete the layout for the current comic; redraw it on sequential art paper, then ink it; then color it.*
* Embellish: add title page, logos, – character illus, dialogue as VO script for actresses: put in to renpy: Add frames, modify ( simply, extend) for sequence to be animation in CSP, – then ( eventually, in click team fusion, 2-d rpg game, animation sequence: pixels from art)
2. Start Redraw the many Drawing Pad studies ( fan art, studies) – of detailed, precise, koh i noor pencil drawings ( reproduction studies) – using the current cast ( that I’m writing scripts for VO )
3. Complete studies, for supporting, cast, and modify templates ( 19 x 24 ) – detail, and then finally ink – so I can color: and make variations ( pre-code horror; sequence).
Reference Studies versus New Comics
As Rob Marzullo said ( paraphrase): ” Artist’s draw what they see. The key way to get better at drawing is to draw things you can see. Eventually, you can draw them with out using references, but any artist knows, and has used references to develop their skill at some time. ”
I sincerely appreciate your contributions from the past year, And wish you a Happy and fulfilling New Year!
My approach, has been to set up a curriculum of studies, and do them whenever I feel ready. The ideas I get, I make sure to mark down in a way I can revisit. My goal is to have the repertoire of ‘reference based’ studies, as the backbone, to ensure quality of forms ( often lacking in many artworks seen on the internet). Then, when I have professional panels for every scene, cover, painting; I can apply it to original ideas. Sort of multi tasking; with an emphasis on skill development.
Each month’s subscription funds art supplies, the voice over actresses and scope of the visual novel. I appreciate viewer like yourself, who make this happen!
