I recently made a commission request inquiry. ( it’s long and detailed) I attached a photo. And they responded in 2 days, ( asking if I could reattach).
From Steve Fastner and Rich Larson:
Can you resend the image? It didn’t come through correctly.
This is exciting. The fact they responded, means they aren’t against it yet ( from the written description).

I just replied with attachments, and sample specifics. And said, if they’re okay with the project, I can fully render the specific image ( costume, color, background, supporting character).
I look forward to see what their reply is. Even if my budget is stretched to thin to get a commission now, I can work toward funding it, likely within this year. That would be a milestone – for me. As I described to them in the recent inquiry:
Inquiry Letter 1 Closing Remarks
” Your high quality, tones, detail, anatomy, and vast body of
work, inspired me to pursue my passion, ( art creation ) when at a cross roads, after getting a masters degree. ( namely, ” Kiss of the Ax” – or
“Sexecutioner” – because rarely do you see mainstream professional
airbrushed quality with both, nudity, and lurid, scene content; and I
thought about how special art is ( despite software, and video game CGI;
seeming to obscure traditional art techniques ) , your old school , hard work, sheer meticulousness, outshined every software aided image I had seen for years; and I wanted to aspire to your level of anatomical knowledge, tonal quality, and overall polished work. I’m still working toward it.
Anyway, if this type of image is too, controversial, or otherwise not
something you’ll do, no problem, I still love your work, and it was an
honor to write to you. Just really, thought it would be cool, to get the
real deal, from the guys who inspired me, one day; while they are still around. It would be the crowning item in my collection, and featured for
all my subscribers ( fans also) and in the game, which I intend to promote
heavily, and get alot of visibility, development in the coming years.
Warmest regards, ”
