6th Scale Model Photos
1st with Canon Rebel Ti 7.
The shoots are very simple for now – until I get painted backgrounds, test the camera settings, and use the poseable models with costumes/props; and multi figure interaction ( and later , possibly, stop motion animation).
I have a design for a working steel guillotine, that is 6th scale size, and durable, made from items from the hardware store, that doesn’t block the view of the figure ( as much as traditional designs).
Something to look into, later – modeling clay, plastic model ( kit bashing); to design gore; painted. It will likely have to be largely custom built. And probably a jiao doll* ( even though the TB League are more detailed, muscularly) – since the pin holding the headsculpt can be removed ( the TB League have a giant metal ball, that insert into the head sculpts: very conspicuous).
* CGI can be used (photo shop) – to post process the images; but I plan, for now to use them as study reference ( to have informed character designs, and perspective, of foreshortened poses).
I am eager to get the ‘studio’ quality, embellished work out ASAP.
More practice with my camera, over the next month, planning to stage photo shoots of 6th scale models, and props!**
** – pending, weather, and timing around a major physical chore I do about every 2 weeks, as volunteer work to aid senior citizens, that leaves me fatigued for the rest of that day.
Splicing Current dialogue, and scripting new ones!
Camera: 6th Scale Models: Photos
Props: from the hardware store, I found alot of items that look better than miniature kits. Chains, ( variations of), and wooden platforms, and doorstops ( which, happen to be ideal, for the main prop, without obscuring all the figure, when in position: similar to some I have drawn). As well, as traditional, large wooden blocks, with a groove. And ‘pikes’.
I have 20 some headsculpts, to represent every major ethnicity. One of the main benefits, is, the foreshortening of the face, in rotation: which is a big limitation for visual artists, who don’t use models. I have always felt, limited by that – and impressed when artists who use models, have informed drawings, of that pose, which I then study and use as a key template. With the 6th scale models, I can create compositions, with the kind of anatomical precision, that was impressive with Skyrim ( regarding the animation, and moving objects, after the animation).
Script Queue: Task Priority
I read a little into the blog, announcements – apparently this producer got banned from using pay pal ( for life) and now switched to bit coin; and sounded anxious for funds, to keep the business going. There are so few content creators, with reasonable s/fx. I wanted to support the creator, ( a little) , and purchased one of the films, for download.
( I’d share it, but he had a statement, about how giving others access hurt his business – out of respect for his explicit request. I will merely mention, that the film had a similar prop arrangement, and the s/fx were excellent- there are many of the films, which use the same prop, that have great s/fx; but some have minimal, or no s/fx as part of the film).
While, this opportunity presents itself ( for the first time I discovered it) – I am going to write during the bulk of the productive day time, and submit as many scripts, as I can ( featuring varieties of props), until I see the shoot is ‘closed’.
If I get a copy of the film, based on my script – I may share it with regularly paying subscribers ( several individuals), on a collaborative basis: This is very different, than posting it to a public gallery- of thousands, where after it leaks, he cannot charge for it (losing money, he deserves, that would keep his business going).
In this case, sharing it, would be in the spirit, of a) encouraging select members to support, and be aware of his work b) give an idea of what their contributions can be direct toward: ie, in the future, when I direct funds to film/actresses, the rights can be purchased, and the script can involve specific models, costumes, scenes, s/fx.
Seeing what (if, they use any of my scripts) their production looks like in advance, is in this way, supporting the opportunity for future income to his endeavor, rather than simply abusing his rights.
The spirit of copyright law, is to protect the profitability of the creator. Given 3 – or 4 regular/trusted members, are the only ones I’d consider ‘sharing’ ( not selling his right protected work), the result of the script I wrote – I could simply post an excerpt, not the entirety : leaving it up to the subscriber, if they are interested in seeing more, to purchase it from him directly: this would be actually promoting his content, not stealing it. Or, I could just post a link to where he sells it – which would likely include a preview. I’m not sure – I have to see if he even uses my script. If not, I can illustrate the script, and use it for a Renpy Mini Game – or, when I get my studio outfitted for nude models, actresses: I can film it myself.
I lived 21 years of my life, never having heard of Dolcett, and when it was the about the biggest name in the genres that resemble what I would look at online, every 3 months or so. I surfed the internet to see if anyone was creating reimaginings of work like Boris Vallejo’s Tarnsman of Gor, or similar images. And occassionaly, there would be quality paintings done that featured the rare pre-code horror scene. It’s rarity ( as John Denver describes) is the main part of the appeal. As you can attest to, if you look through a guro gallery laden with drawings that could be improved, and occassionally see a top quality piece.
Will add the sort of Skyrim, immersive feel I envisioned this website, Open world, and the visual novel having. Really exciting ( now that I have a professional recording equipment, I’ve been practicing and arranging my schedule to have adequate time, to compose, and develop and make some background music tracks; and ballads for the actresses to segue into ( like a Disney musical – maybe?, ..) . Which is what separates AAA games from lower tier presentations.
We’ll see. It”s all about time management, efficient. Since I am doing all the tasks.
The average, healthy person has no problem digesting lurid content – a small fraction, of disturbed, unbalanced, people, and opinionated specialists, have strong negative reactions ( hypersensitivity) and cast a long shadow on the internet, bawling about what offends them – but the vast majority, comprehend entertainment, horror genre, catharsis, and appreciate the thrill and ambiance unique to the genre ( just like families and their young kids, enjoy haunted houses, gory costumes, at Halloween; and red blooded males, and females, play the latest Warner Bro’s Mortal Kombat, and enjoy the over the top anatomically exquisite gore – and Metal covers. ).
I appreciate your shared interest in my vision – and very tangible support of it, by your patronage – which is so rewarding!
