The intent is to share the art from quality scans, of the original art, for fans of this type of Comicbook art to have easy reference to for research, study and academic purpose – not to undermine the original copyright owners rights, profits, or claim authorship of.

Rather than to reduce the sales of the original copyright owners comics posted here, this page is meant as a tribute; and brings awareness to these comics, and in effect is increasing interest in them.

I am not charging admission to Lurid Max on the basis of advertising exclusive access to these Vintage Comics; they are merely kept inside the site – as per Privacy Policy, and to protect Lurid Max, as a site, from threats of spamming, hackers, or anything the contents might be subject to if it were outside of the password protected areas of the site.

Section 107 of the Copyright Act states:

Because I have received Fastner and Larson’s blessing, upon purchase of the original art “Sexecutioner”, I have implied consent to use the image of the original art I own by said artists; evidenced by emails.

No member here will deliberately take any actions that will bring into question, or make a case for copyright infringement against the site owners/creators or hosting service – for any photos of any comicbooks or vintage Art in this site.
