Voice over Casting:

Goal is to get these read, and recorded, ASAP: ( since voice actresses can be suddenly unavailable: for continuity) Once the basic characters, premise, sound effects, phrase bank, and foundational scripts are in final; embellished, screenplay-ish format, the make the visual novel creation process (comics; pending supporting cast templates: lore) straightforward.

Yeti Mic – Sound F/x

With Yeti mic, I can record my own soundtrack: including s/fx: for the lurid pre -code horror scenes ( having already conceived, and observed how it is done in other films and video games.)

Updates: (Mon Mar 2 2020)

I have voice acted Gig 2 ( for Voice Actress 8) – for pronounciations and inflections ( full correspondence). [ Ordered a metal Pop filter, for the mic; and a stereo male to male 3.5 mm aux cable, to record directly from my Yamaha PSR 510. ETA Mar 12 – 20 ( overseas) ]

I Recorded* a variety of suspenseful, and cartridge video game style instrumental riffs. As soon as I take time to read more audacity directions, and practice splicing, I might put up some soundtracks bits, sound effects ( over time).

( to later, practice, arrange, compose, and – when I take time to read audacity manual: I look forward to splicing, audio from actors/ actresses: to put together listenable tracks, as scripted ( and variations); and progressively developing background music. )

I have listened to some of the background music offered by sellers, alot of it is very slow, and atmospheric; not very kinetic. Before I actually release the game trailer, I should listen to the type of music featured in my favorite games. I will do my own version first ( without checking games), at the kinetic pace of classical ( and heavy metal), but, for the final release, I might tone it down to be less, distracting, overpowering, and less like an action/horror movie soundtrack, and probably toward the atmospheric kind.
