Introduction: Overview – Creator/Owned Body of Work
5 SFW, 5 NSFW – and alternates for each 5; ie, ( like if it was Red Sonja SFW, then Red Sonja NSFW, then Belladonna SFW, and Belldonna NSFW.)
So a total of 20 stories, scripts, and character-arc focuses. I like the idea of con-currently doing a SFW, and NSFW – 2 stories. for the same title.
Doing the first two under one brand, the first 6 month season, then a different brand, also 2, for the other 6 months.
Why so many titles, and an additional brand?
It’s very balancing. Complementing each other. Planned out at least 5 years of work, that builds a body of creator owned work, in 4 areas, with two brands.

Eronstones
The Eronstones absorb energy from the Aethyr wind, that passes through the planetoid – and serve as ‘cameras‘ for the Septendecim, inside the planetoid. They can generate vibrating, sonar energy, like a radio wave, but can be amplified, to create power, heat rays, lasers, and are more far- reaching in effect than any Berast stone weapon or communicating device. The Eronstones can send messages across galaxies; without interference from nature.
With an Eronstone, one can be a knight, or a king, certainly the most powerful , and richest man in town. Eronstones, were littered around the interior of the sphere, but long since, obtained, and ownership protected by families, noble lines, leaders; like the end of the gold rush.
Red Sonja is well known, and has appeared in multiple volumes ( Marvel , Dynamite)- and there has been talk of a new movie for years. When I set about giving ‘art’ a due amount of effort and discipline, I looked for artwork that impressed me. Things that I knew I couldn’t reproduce at the time. Much of it was on Pinterest. There were lots of fan art threads featuring ‘super heroines’ – Huntress, Powergirl, Batgirl, She Hulk, Supergirl, Spiderwoman ect,..- including Red Sonja.
In fact, there was so much fan-art featuring Red Sonja, and similar characters ( on Deviant art) – that I had not seen before: Red Monica, Red, Reddish, ( and more). – that I hesitated to create another. I personally had only a couple comics with Red Sonja in it – from the 1990’s.
The images I saw, spanning her origin in Conan the Barbarian #23, had various outfits, and physique styles. The more recent ‘Dynamite’ cover variants ( by many artists) depict a range of thin models, to moderately muscled. The costume seems to remain fairly consistent; but the faces quite disparate, changing in detail per the artist; though generally a woman with long red hair, athletic and comic book heroine-sized breasts.
The way subscribe star is set up, unlike Patreon; I can only get a payout, after $150 is reached. In the meantime, I have been working on a script for a voice- over actress that I chose to begin with (SFW and NSFW). I think her video game narration sounds really professional, and her acting range fits several characters. She will return in Oct 19.

15 days of daily social media campaigning for Lurid Max. 4 subscribed to Subscribe star! 20 followers on brand new Pivix account, images have over a 100 views! 16 members to a newly opened DA Group!
It was a chance to see the art ‘watchers’ are ‘favoriting‘, by artists across DA. It gave me alot of ideas and responses. I look forward to resuming studio art – drawing, without the daily interruption – as simple, and quick as the previews seem, and little time viewing them takes – to post daily on 7 platforms for over a week, seemed to take 6 hours each day; mostly writing captions. I had alot of energy to devote to thinking up ideas, and applied it to some stories and scripts, that will be ideal for the upcoming ‘Congo Jongo’***.
I was pleased with the results on Subscribe Star, Pivix and the Deviant Art Group “Pre-Code Horror”*. Especially glad to see members** supporting it! – Thanks!
* Group members can submit images, to the group gallery. It reminds me of running an artclub in the honors college, in under grad; putting out flyers, existential writing and esoteric comics. Getting funding from student government, ect,..

I have planned out some weekly previews and arranged them for quick access.
I have in mind posting some writing on the artist and history of pre-code horror. My main goal, is to de-stigmatize the genre, and delineate what my interest is, from what is currently most prevalent, and draw an audience to the work I am remastering.

Congo Jongo
The NSFW version will be available for Clandestine Members only – I don’t plan to release it to general Lurid Max subscribers; or new joiners. I plan to change the wording, on all social media related to Congo Jongo, and present it as totally mainstream, and see what happens.
